PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA, AVOCADO SMOOTHIE

CREAMY CREAMY CREAMY! I make this all the time (also especially great for you nursing mamas or pregnancy too).
Smoothies are an amazing way to pack in a ton of nutrition and are easygoing. However... they can seem a bit intimidating if you don't really know where to start, so this is one of my favorite recipes that I have clients try out to get more familiar.
Packed with protein, healthy fats, fiber and a very healthy alternative to a milkshake.
You can add in more greens too but that's also optional if you need to work your way to that. Put a spoonful of hemp seeds on top too if you're up for it for more ALA omegas & protein. So this is what you get when you add these simple and healthy ingredients together.
This is your perfect shake when you are seriously craving the thickest kind of shake. I am in love. I am also in love with the healthy ingredients. Healthy fats for the avocado and peanut butter, plus potassium and fiber.
Try it out and let me know what you think. Also very kid-friendly. Perfect for St. Patricks’s Day too. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cup unsweetened almond or cashew milk or milk of choice - depends how thick you want it
  • 1 frozen banana peel & cut before freezing
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 2-3 tbsp organic peanut butter or sunflower butter or other nut butter works
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • Handful of spinach can be optional if you're not there yet
  • 3-4 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. (You can try the flavor now and see what else you'd like in it). Serve in 2 glasses. Enjoy!
