HEALTHY HOMEMADE POPSICLES

Healthy Homemade Popsicles, 4 Ingredients!
Strawberry Peach Yogurt Popsicles and so easy. Not being in love with any store bought brands and Aubyn saying “pa-pa-pa-cles” every day, I knew it was time to make our own and even better - have the kids actually make them.
There are so many delicious ways to enjoy. You just need the molds. Depending on the ingredients, you’ll need at least 4-6 hours to turn the parts from liquid to solid. Overnight freezing is the safest bet, A & A literally count down the hours and check every 30 mins. Learning patience I suppose.
You can play with many different flavors and if using frozen fruit, I suggest to thaw and then blend. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups organic strawberries pureed to 1 ½ cup
  • 3 cups organic peaches peeled and sliced, pureed to 1 ½ cup
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey divided
  • ⅔ cashew-coconut vanilla bean yogurt or greek vanilla

Instructions

  • In a blender, puree strawberries with four teaspoons of honey then set aside. Clean blender, puree sliced peaches with two teaspoons of honey, set aside.
  • Layer the popsicles as follows; 2 teaspoons strawberry puree, 1 teaspoon yogurt, 2 teaspoons peach puree and repeat. Make a fruit puree your last layer. You can also make just one flavor each as you see we like too.
  • Tap the mold on the counter to make sure all of the layers settle. Use a small spoon to drag vertically from the bottom to the top of the mold a few times to create a swirled pattern.
  • Gently tap the molds on the countertop to remove any air bubbles. Insert the popsicle sticks, and then freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight. Yum
