Double Chocolate Oats! I love this breakfast anytime and anywhere. It is packed with superfoods and is also very delicious at the same time. That is called a win-win situation. To keep your blood sugar balanced, it's important to use a protein powder and top with healthy fats and fiber.

Packed with nutrition and tasty all at the same time. Hits the spot every time and will keep you full all morning long. Win-win recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gf oats cooked
  • Almond milk unsweetened vanilla or coconut milk
  • 1 scoop of protein powder chocolate
  • 1-2 tbsp cacao nibs
  • Granola sprinkled over - I like grain free, low carb like Purely Elizabeth
  • ¼ cup blueberries or fruit of choice optional
  • Keep blood sugar stable with fiber and healthy fats for toppings

Instructions

  • Place your cooked oats in a bowl. (I like to soak my oats overnight - this is optional).
  • Pour in your almond milk and protein powder; mix until well incorporated.
  • Next sprinkle your cacao nibs and granola over.
  • Serve with a sliced banana. Can also add in anything else you fancy. Enjoy!

Notes

You can add in anything else you like. Example: nut butter, coconut flakes, chia seeds, etc.
You can use any protein powder you like with minimal ingredients.
Great fuel for those hard workouts or when you need a breakfast to keep you full. Keep this blood sugar balanced with protein, fiber and fat toppings.
